How to install:

1. First use a 2MM flat-blade screwdriver to remove the three screws of the lens mount.

2. Gently turn the black inner cover and lift it up, and take out the inner cover.

3. Use a 1.7MM Phillips screwdriver to remove the six screws on the bayonet.

4. Use your hands hold the bayonet and gently lift it up. Be careful that there is a marble, it is very easy to fall into the lens or bounce away.

5. Please save all the removed parts for restoring the Leica R bayonet later.

6. Then put on the new adapter ring and screw on the six Phillips screws of the original bayonet

Note:

There will be some friction between the aperture lever and the inner wall of the adapter ring, that is normal, it purpose is to prevent the aperture lever from rebounding to the minimum aperture position after adjusting the aperture level.
